I recently bought one of the .hack DVDS (``.hack/SIGN'', episodes 6 - 10). It came with a soundtrack CD, which I got around to listening to only an hour ago.

It's pretty good. If you like .hack1, it's worth the purchase. Has a mix of techno, orchestral, & ... whimsical jazzy(?) tunes. I especially like ``limit'', which is hard, synthed techno, & Mimiru's theme, which is what I was thinking when I wrote ``whimiscal jazzy'' in the previous sentence. Mimiru's theme is really cute.

The CD has at least one orchestral track from the OVA. I think it's Mai Menasi's theme, though it's not titled that way. It does not have the series theme sone for .hack//SIGN or any of the music from the game.

Not a ``must have'', but pretty good.
